Onehunnidt wins Houston Press Music Awards for Best Solo Rapper and Best Mixtape

This time two years ago, Onehunnidt was not recording any music. Sure there were the occasional recordings of verses over industry beats and house party freestyle sessions with the homies, but at that time no one, not even Onehunnidt took his talents as a serious professional pursuit.  Now he has still yet to receive a multi million dollar record deal contract, or any Grammy awards but he is now according to some the best rapper in Houston.

 

This March, Onehunnidt was the day 1 winner of the SXSW Coast 2 Coast competition with his stage performance of “Fathers Day”, now he is officially Houston Press Music Award Best Solo Rapper and Best Mixtape for “Keep It 100″.  The online fan voting led Onehunnidt to wins in both categories and take home two plaques!
