What is #Kobepose Trending Topic? What is Kobe wearing?

Not sure if you’ve noticed. But these “odd” to say the least photos of NBA great Kobe Bean Bryant were released by LA Time Magazine titled “White Hot.”. Fans, fashion aficionados and the overall general public are still weirded out about the purpose and the poise of the photos.

Kobe’s words “In a town where celebrity is a common commodity, the basketballer is a category upon himself.” and that the final product was “a little too artsy.”

Soon after viewing the pictures, Kobe and these infamous poses became the laughing stock at a music management meeting I was attending. We referenced the #Kobepose to the Captin Morgan pose, Statue of Liberty and pretty much everything we could think of then took it to twitter. #Kobepose took off even further because the conversation was during tuesdays Lakers vs Jazz playoff game, in which TNT made fun of Kobe with the pictures and his only reply was “Those pics were not supposed to look like that” lol.

The Kobepose trending topic was born via @thegeorgeyoung @onehunnidt @herneythegreat @go_djxplicit @hdashkane @iamfranklee and a few others who thought the tweets were funny. Soon after, someone annoymously created a @kobepose account and soon a ranked Trending Topic was born! Long live the #kobepose lmao (search #kobepose on twitter to find the jokes, too many too post)
