OneHunnidt – The price of honesty

Honesty doesn’t cost anything financially. To tell a lie is also flood gate to millions of new lies. But what happens to the mind of one who is the definition of 100? How is it to be alive when you become art personified?
I am happy to be alive although I use the term loosely
This can’t be how “life” should feel
To describe it best:
I feel something like a piece of cheese sitting on a mouse trap, immobile and waiting on the vermin to bite. Seconds away from an inevitable death trap that will soon snap and take the mouse of its misery while only halfway finished with is last meal, leaving part of me devoured inside the belly of a dead carcass.
Whats worse is the trap is locked within a cage that is placed within a sealed box and stored inside a forgotten dark corner of a boarded up condemned pet store.
Deep?
Someone would need to:
Un board the store
Unlock the store
Find the box
Unseal the box
Unlock the cage
And remove to mouse
..Highly unlikely
Picture painted?
The biggest tragedy on Earth is not failing to be “successful”, failing to have drive, or failing to find love and life’s purpose. The biggest tragedy on Earth is to live and die misunderstood
I write, public speak, paint and draw to give creative expression and to provide insight into what it looks like while my gears turn.
To make you feel me is not up to me, my only job is to tell the truth
“I’m just a soul who’s intentions are good.. oh Lord, please dont let me be misunderstood”

that’s exactly right.
While naturally I sould say my fear is dying alone my true fear is being misunderdstood which will always be the case but as long as I stay true to myself and keep it 100 with everyone one else, goodness comes to those who wait.
“Patience is virtue and life is a waiting game” (Corinne Bailey Rae) untill its your time to shine.
the ending quote is perfect man!
“The biggest tragedy on Earth is to live and die misunderstood”–I love this. It makes me think about how we go our whole lives with people having this perception of who they think we are and what we’re supposed to be and a lot of times we go along with it to keep from causing a stir. You set an example to not be ashamed, afraid or even hesitant to be yourself & truthful in every aspect of your life. It’s scary to think that you can live a life where you’re essence (I think that’s the word I’m looking for) can be thought to be way different from it really was. I think that people look at “keeping it 100″ as being rude or too blunt but if we’re not “100″ then we’ve pretty much become fake & not true to what really makes us ourselves if that makes any sense.
I kind of don’t know where I was going with that but I really did enjoy reading this it’s very thought provoking and insightful.
Great post! You def speak from the heart. In today’s society that’s a rarity and its good to know there’s still people out there who wont succumb to playing games. The world would be a much better place it we would just speak the TRUTH.
So true you have put the nail in the coffin homie perceptions of what’s truen 100 in ya life n daily routine
Dopeness!
Speeeeak! Dying misunderstood is a concern for a whole lot of us… living misuderstood worries me more. They both go hand in hand with carrying out my purpose for being here. Walk to the beat of ur own drum, keep doin ur own thing ur own way- as long as u keep it one hunnidt. I’ve learned that that’s a concept some will never understand…just kno u hitting home for us who can!! P.S the artwork is beasty!!!
You have said a lot of things that I agree with and have realized, but I don’t feel comfortable completely expressing my thoughts on the matter. I am very often misunderstood and my words are usually misconstrued. Great entry.
