Rihanna’s Rated R Album Cover

Rihanna has created a lot of buzz lately with her anticipating  album Rated R, which releases November 23. We saw her barbed wired wrapped body for the Russian Roulette single cover and now here are two pictures from the new album. These grainy black and white shots were shot by photographer Ellen Von Unwerth . The photographer is known for her iconic album covers, including Britney Spears’ Blackout, Christina Aguilera’s Back to Basics and Janet Jackson’s The Velvet Rope. What do you think about the album art? Is this simply high fashion or is she painting a dark and mysterious picture?
