In a recent virtual town hall meeting, President Obama was accepting questions from the general public to incorporate and address concerns. The headlining topic of discussion, the economy, took an interesting turn when a questioner proposed legalizing marijuana to help our country’s financial crisis . Although the question received many laughs, the Commander inChief was firm with his response.
“I have to say that there was one question that was voted on that ranked fairly high, and that was whether legalizing marijuana would improve the economy and job creation,” Obama said off-handedly at the town hall. “I don’t know what that says about the online audience.”
“The answer is no, I do not think that is a good strategy to grow our economy,” Obama said to laughter from the town hall participants.” -http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com
One of the most popular questioners who submitted an inquiry to WhiteHouse.gov claimed that decriminalizing the usage and trafficking of marijuana and allowing the government to tax and set age limits will create new jobs into a multi-billion dollar industry.

I was just looking for info about this when I discovered your blog post. I’m just dropping by to say that I very much enjoyed seeing this post, it is really clear and well written. Are you considering blogging more on this? It appears like there’s more depth here for more posts.
Finally a president on the right track…the drug itself is relatively harmless…and it could only bring extra and much needed money legal monies back into the economy…the real question is how will this task be facilitated….how should it be dispensed…Should it come out of cold boring hospital like dispensaries or should there be some type of Dboy Degree?
